You won´t see a lot of masks in Norway. Although the infection is rising now. Many have asked; Why!?? Are we stupid? Don’t we care? Do we want to die? Nope! The reasons are scientific, cultural and it´s about our DNA. It seems the Corona, Covid 19 virus fears the Norwegian mentality. It does not mate here as well as in other countries. And wearing a mask might be too complicated for Norwegians – just watch until the end!
We have invested in other ways to fight the ugly bug. Testing is basic. Combined with our anti-social behavior, which is about extreme isolation and loneliness, fear of touch, hugs and passion for personal space – Norway offers an unattractive environment for the killer virus. Moreover, we are not an individualistic society. We are community oriented. We do what we are told. And we have some common anxieties that the virus hates and despises.
This is an educational video with a touch of humor, sarcasm, self-deprecation and cringe situations. Ronald uses his personal stories to explain why we do not wear masks. He talks about Northern Norway and an Aha concert. When he is going to try a mask for the first time, it becomes obvious to everyone that Norwegians + masks = trouble.
